Blue Mermaid Smoothie Bowl ?

Blue Mermaid Smoothie Bowl ?

I don’t often indulge in a smoothie bowl but I do have a rather weird obsession with them – their inherent beauty is beyond overwhelming. But I’m not the best when it comes constructing them (or any kind of food art for that matter) so I often have to rely on bright and bountiful foods to make up for my lack of artism. That’s when the Blue Mermaid Smoothie Bowl came to mind.

Kickstart your day by channeling your inner Ariel with this gorgeously dazzling Blue Mermaid Smoothie Bowl, made with E3Live Blue Majik, a potent algae that will boost your overall health.

That gorgeous ocean blue colour of the most Instagram worthy mermaid bowls you see is created by the blue-green algae spirulina – specifically E3Live’s Blue Majik – which (by weight) has a whopping 22 times more iron than spinach, 6 times more antioxidants than blueberries, and 6 times more calcium than cow’s milk. Regular intake can aid inflammation responses after physical activity, keep joints healthy, and help to support antioxidant and cellular protection. Blue Majik* is also naturally gluten free and vegan AND is certified organic too so you know you’re getting a premium product minus toxic fillers meaning you can reap its bountiful health benefits.

All you need to make this beautiful Blue Mermaid Smoothie Bowl is a high speed blender (I used my Froothie Optimum G2.1 Platinum Series Blender) and a handful of delicious ingredients. I used frozen bananas and (frozen) white grapes for my base, along with almond milk and coconut yogurt to keep it nice and creamy. Adding just a squeeze of lemon helps to eliminate that sort of ‘pond scum’ like flavour that you may have experienced in the past with spirulina – although I have to say that Blue Majik is far more subtle than regular spirulina. Topped off with some of my favourite tropical fruits and toasted pistachios this smoothie bowl is sure to dazzle your taste buds. So what are you waiting for? Get stuck in!
